A 90 ball bingo card consists of five columns.  Each column corresponds to the letters in the word B-I-N-G-O.  Every card has 24 numbers, with a variety of filled and blank squares.

Now here’s where it starts to get mind boggling.  If you were to calculate the possible number of combinations on a bingo card, the total number combination reaches 552,446,474,061,129,000,000,000,000.  A most impressive number indeed.  This number is worked out as a result of calculating all possible card combinations.  That number in a more comprehensible format is 552-million-billion-billion, or 0.5 quadrillion.  If you ever had a phone bill that big, you would be in trouble.

And providing there was enough in in the universe, it would take

17,505,972,382,599.7 years to print all bingo cards, at an incredible rate of 1 million per second.

Impressive statistic indeed.  But instead of worrying about these mind-boggling numbers, settle down to a relatively simple game of free online bingo, and worry about winning instead. Ahh, the simple pleasures in life.
