The first qualifying round in the Bingo World Championship 2010 came to an end on the 31st October 2009, with sixty lucky people qualifying for the Finals next year.

With 12 different online bingo sites participating in this year’s championships, and with each site having its own qualifiers, the chances of progressing in this fabulous tournament are fantastic.

This Championship is now in its 9th year, with the Grand Final set to take place on March 28th 2010 at 8pm EST. Players will share a super Prize Pool worth a massive $10,000.

The player who’s been a member at Bingo Gala since 2002 continued by describing the moment leading up to her big win: “By the time the last game started, I chalked it up to it was a fun free time, but it just wasn’t going to happen for me this year. I gave up and went to get another bowl of cereal. My hubby met me in the kitchen and said, “Did you win?” and I said, “No”. Then he said, “Is it over?” to which I replied, “It is for me.” and kind of laughed. When I came back I noticed my card wasn’t doing badly, as I watched the other roomies counting down. Then I was down to two to go and I thought no way; I started praying. And OMG I couldn’t believe it he called my number B2. I couldn’t believe it as I watched the card flash in slow motion.”

The grand final will take place on Sunday, March 22nd at 8pm EST and the 27 winners will join the field of 165 online bingo players that qualified during the first three qualifying rounds that took place in November, December and January.

This coming Sunday, March 22nd, 23 games will award online bingo players $10,000 in cash with the final game awarding the winner a massive $5,000 in cash.
