Bingo Raiding Coming to a Site near You
Bingo raiding is the term used for a player participating in more than one room simultaneously, and it’s the issue that is dividing the bingo world in two. A bingo raider books tickets for a game, leaves the room and then simultaneously plays in several rooms across separate sites.
Some sites are so against Bingo Raiding, that they claim they will terminate a player’s membership if they are found to be doing this. Sites that run chat games where one roomies’ winnings depend on another player being present, are particularly against such antics. It also angers innocent roomies, who miss out on cashing in.
However, some sites have realised there is nothing they can do to stop the activity, and have embraced raiding. Indeed, one or two have even made chat games out of it, where players can win large amounts of points if they spot a raider.
Roomies claim they raid to stretch their pennies, and to maximise their chances of winning. After all, bingo is a game of chance, and surely it pays to play as many games as possible?
As more and more sites introduce multiple chat rooms, it’s quite possible that raiding will become more commonplace, and even the norm. But for now, it’s a tricky issue, and only time will tell how online bingo sites deal with it.
