Floor Slippery When Wet

The title should almost explain what happened to me just a few nights back when my wife and I went to bingo.

It had rained buckets a few hours earlier in the day and it was pretty messy outside.

We decided to go to bingo to pass some time away and maybe hit the JP which was in 60 numbers and had not gone yet.

After we pulled up and I dropped my wife off at the front door, I drove around back to find a parking spot, and after parking, I was trying to hurry up and wasn’t watching where I was walking and opened the back door to the hall, took about 10 steps and then WHAM, I’m laying on my back looking at the ceiling!!

Of course everyone sitting at the back of the hall saw that, and also my beet-red face when I sat up and slowly got up with some help from a nice kindly older lady…LOL.

My pants and back of my shirt were all muddy and my back was sore, but bingo lover that I am, I stayed and played for the next 2 hours, didn’t get that JP, won a few $10 games but all in all despite some pain..it was still a nice nite out with my wife!
